If you are tired of drilling and endlessly cleaning choreography, this game is for you! This done-for-you choreography cleaning game makes it easy to keep students motivated during in the rehearsal process, without creating more work for you. Your students will love this using this game clean choreography for competition, performance, and recital – and they will learn valuable skills in the process of playing it! 

This game can be used in a number of ways:

• At full company or studio rehearsals, dancers can play as they watch other dances that they are not cast in.
• In classes or closed rehearsals, 2 or more dancers can step out during a run of the piece and play as they observe their castmates perform.
• Dancers can play as they watch a video of themselves and their castmates performing.

The game contains three separate Bingo cards, all of which feature the same observation points in a different order. The observation points are based on dance technique, artistry, and social-emotional skills and include items like, “Strong Musicality,” “Messy or Incorrect Arms,” and “Made a mistake but kept going!” A blank template is also included so you can make your own card with feedback specific to your dance if you choose.

This game is based on my experience as a dancer, dance educator, and choreographer working in ballet, modern, jazz, and jazz-derived forms including lyrical and contemporary. It is my hope that it will be applicable to a wide range of dance forms, although it does come from the perspective of Western Concert Dance.
