Get professional, supportive feedback on your dance performance from an experienced dance educator and adjudicator before your upcoming dance competition or auditions – at an affordable price! As a highly reviewed adjudicator with 17 years as a choreographer and dance educator, I take pride in providing feedback that dancers really need to make every performance their best! Get some extra input from an objective observer on every aspect of your dance: technique and artistry, choreography, costuming, music, and more! I am available to review solos, small groups, and productions in contemporary, lyrical, jazz, modern, and ballet.

I welcome submissions from dance parents wanting a fresh set of eyes on their child’s solos for competition, dance teachers who want to help their dancers take their performance to the next level, dancers who want a review of their video applications for auditions for dance intensives, or choreographers who want some feedback on their work before competition, showcase applications, performances, or grant applications. I look forward to helping you excel on stage this year!

I can’t wait to help you take your dancing or choreography to the next level this season! My goal is always to make the adjudication process easy, positive, joyful, and educational for all involved! As a dance educator, choreographer, coach, and adjudicator, I have worked with thousands of young dancers and emerging choreographers – and I’m excited to work with you, too!

  • BA and MFA in Dance
  • Professional experience dancing with ballet and modern companies
  • Dance Company Director
  • Founder of the National Choreography Month Hub in Washington, D.C.
  • Choreographer for 5 full-length musicals
  • Educator and choreographer at dance studios, K-12 school, and universities

  • Guest teacher at festival, summer intensives, and workshops

Please send a link video to a video of your performance via YouTube, Vimeo, Dropbox, GoogleDrive, or a comparable streaming service to shannondoolingdances@gmail.com after payment is made. Please reference the transaction number on your receipt in your email. You may also include specific questions that you have for me as an adjudicator, or specific requests for feedback on different aspects of the dance, such as choreography, costuming, music, performance quality, or dancers’ technique.

Price listed is per piece of choreography, up to 5 minutes each piece. I will send you a confirmation upon receipt of the video link. Feedback will be provided within 3 business days via email. An average of 5 pages of written feedback will be provided. Verbal feedback can be provided upon request. No refunds will be made once feedback is provided.
